The Ritual
In the shadowed recesses of a desolate realm, the Lord of Pain, Xerathul, and his devoted followers begin a debauched ritual, weaving a tapestry of suffering and ecstasy to garner favor with their dark patron, Slaanesh.
Drawn by the siren call of arcane energies, Greyseer Verminclaw and his horde of skaven swarm towards the ritual site, intent on disrupting the profane ceremony and seizing the potent energies for their own diabolical schemes.
As the skaven horde charges recklessly towards the ritual grounds, the air crackles with anticipation. Blissbarb archers, swift and lethal, loose a volley of barbed arrows, cutting through the ranks of Stormvermin with merciless precision, leaving a trail of carnage in their wake.
Undeterred by the loss of their brethren, the skaven press on, only to be met with another volley of deadly arrows that decimate their ranks. Yet, amidst the chaos, Greyseer Verminclaw channels dark sorcery, casting Death-frenzy upon his clanrats, driving them into a frenzied bloodlust as Clawlord Blacktooth urges them onwards.
The clash of steel and sinew fills the air as the skaven and the Hedonites collide in a brutal dance of death. The clanrats, fueled by dark magic and madness, hurl themselves at their foes, yet even their frenzied onslaught is met with fierce resistance. Blissbarb archers rain death upon the skaven ranks, their arrows finding their marks with deadly accuracy, while the nimble Twin-souls carve through the rat-men with effortless grace.
Despite the ferocity of the skaven's assault, the Hedonites stand firm, their ranks bolstered by Pain Bringers who revel in the agony of battle. As Xerathul's ritual reaches its crescendo, the air thrums with dark energy, suffusing the Lord of Pain with god-like power.
With victory within their grasp, Verminclaw grudgingly orders a retreat, knowing that the tide of battle has turned against them. As the skaven slink back into the shadows, Xerathul basks in the embrace of Slaanesh, intoxicated by the kiss of excruciating pleasure that marks him as the favored champion of the Dark Prince.
